One way is by using Windows System Restore function. You can load this program by accessing Accessories and then access System Tools.

When the program loads, you will have the option of restoring your computer to a certain restore point, based on a calendar that is provided. This way you can actually load the image that was saved at the restore point.

In most cases this resolves any problems your computer may be experiencing. However, if by doing this the restore function did not work, you have a second alternative.

The second option will destroy everything on the disc and restore the disc to the condition it was when it left the factory.

This is a last resort option. Some newer computers keep the backup files on a separate partition of the disc drive.
